Mark
attended Pease Christian School and graduated from Milaca High School.
He then attended St. Cloud State University, and finished his education
in the building trades at St. Cloud Area Technical College.
Mark
worked with his dad in a small construction business for a few years,
gaining valuable experience with various forms of construction. He especially
enjoyed the rewards that came with a finished remodeling project and
a satisfied customer!
In 1976,
Mark married and moved to Indiana, where he worked for a larger residential
construction firm. Again, he gained knowledge and experience with various
construction techniques, as well as important customer service skills.
This prepared him for starting his own construction company when he
and his wife, Terri, moved back to Minnesota in 1980.
Baas
Construction started small, with Mark doing all aspects of each project
himself. Soon, however, his reputation for quality workmanship and excellent
customer service led to the steady growth of the company. Baas Construction
was incorporated in 1991, and continued for the next several years as
a reputable new construction and remodeling contractor in the area. |

Baas was born and raised on a small farm in east central Minnesota. From
his earliest days he learned the value of hard work and the importance
of a good reputation. He learned that honesty and integrity are priceless
in any relationship. Mark's character and business life continue to reflect
the values he learned as a child.
